Scott has over 32 years’ experience in the residential and commercial lending industry. He has held C-Level positions with various banks and mortgage companies.
The many areas that Scott is knowledgeable and experienced includes; Capital Markets, Secondary Marketing, Loan Operations, Loan Review (residential and commercial), Warehousing Lines, Risk Management & Oversight, Hedging Strategies, Loan Servicing Management and Oversight, MSR Valuation, Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Income Projections, Mergers & Acquisition Due Diligence and Compliance/Regulatory oversight. Scott has been involved in establishing and managing Retail/Correspondent/Wholesale Sales as well as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae approvals.
Scott continues to assist banks, mortgage companies and credit unions grow and expand volume and profitability, while maintaining the P&L integrity and managing the risks associated and limiting overall exposure. He has implemented new Loan Origination and Accounting systems for various companies. Also assisted with FDIC, CFPB and State regulatory matters.
Scott has written articles for Mortgage Banking Magazine, Mortgage Orb and MortgageNewClips.com. He has also been a speaker at MBA, Ginnie Mae and Secondary Market engagements.
